UPCOMING EVENTS
TORONTO
Yom Hashoah V'Hagvurah Community Commemoration
Monday, April 13 | 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM (EST)
Venue: Adath Israel Congregation
On the eve of Holocaust Remembrance Day, we reflect on the Jewish family, how it was fractured, transformed, and reimagined during the Holocaust, and how those experiences shape Jewish continuity today. This dynamic commemoration brings community together through survivor testimony, music, and a meaningful candle lighting ceremony.
Your presence matters. Together we affirm the importance of honouring these Jewish families – past, present, and future – and demonstrate our shared commitment to the legacy of the Holocaust.

AMBASSADORS OF CHANGE 2026
(FOR ALL YAD VASHEM SEMINAR ALUMNI)
Ambassadors of Change brings together high school students of varied faiths and backgrounds for a unique program that focuses on the lessons and relevance of the Holocaust. Educators have the rare opportunity to introduce their students to Holocaust survivors and hear first-hand accounts of their experiences. The students participate in a guided discussion, discern the timely lesson of the Holocaust, and discuss ways they can promote tolerance and inclusion in their own communities.
Canadian Educators who are alumni from the Yad Vashem Seminar in Israel successfully run simultaneous programs in their classrooms alongside Holocaust Survivors. Ambassadors of Change forges the values of diversity, justice, and social inclusiveness in the next generation of Canadians.
